Construction Management and Supervision Services for the Wutung Pilot Border Trade and Investment Development Project

A&L were engaged by the Government of Papua New Guinea to provide the Border Development Authority (BDA) in Wutung and Vanimo, Sandaun Province, PNG with competent construction supervision and monitoring during the construction of the Wutung Pilot Border Trade and Investment Development Project Staff Housing and Administration Complex, to ensure timely completion of the construction, within budget and to meet quality international standards
The project was funded by a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Part of these funds were applied for payment for Consulting Services for Construction Supervision and Monitoring of two construction packages:
- CSTB Contract 2114: Wutung Border Administration Complex .Building Contractor Covec Pty Ltd. Contract value: PGK 15.9 million.
- CSTB Contract 2113: Wutung Border Administration Housing. Building Contractor Covec Pty Ltd. Contract value: PGK 32.5 million
- The management and supervision services for the delivery, installation and related construction works of Wutung Border Administration Complex and Wutung Border Administration Housing.
- Performing the services of a “Construction Supervision Engineer” during the entire duration of the delivery, installation and related construction activities of the project by ensuring appropriate scheduling, supervision, documentation, change order negotiations, and other activities as required
